Frederick Crawl Space Solutions is a free referral service for homeowners across Frederick County, MD who need a damp, musty or sagging crawl space fixed. We don’t do the work ourselves. When you call or send a request, we connect you with an independent local crawl space contractor who serves your area, and that pro gives you a price and does the job.
The guides on this site are written and kept up to date by Lena Hartley, our editor. Lena covers crawl space humidity, encapsulation, mold and sagging floors in Maryland’s humid climate, and checks them against public sources such as building science research on sealed crawl spaces and manufacturer specs.
Lena Hartley is a pen name. The guides are general information, not a professional inspection or advice for your specific home. For anything structural, electrical, gas or safety-related, have a licensed pro look at it in person.
Whoever you hire, ask for proof of license and insurance where your state requires them, and get the scope and price in writing before work begins. A good pro will be glad to show both.
